The Silk Mill - Derby's Museum of Industry and History forms part of the newly designated Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site - a 15 mile stretch of the Derwent Valley between Derby and Matlock Bath. This attraction is housed on the site of Derby Silk Mill, England's first modern factory and a major landmark of the Industrial Revolution.
